We will work alongside you to take care of your homeowners from start to finish. We will create your proposals, designs, and send customer agreements, so you can focus on the things that matter most. We will act as your personal dedicated support team in helping homeowners go solar.

Brio’s Solar Sales Consultants are required to develop their own book of business (customer database). You will be responsible for giving in-home presentations. Solar Sales Consultants will be eligible to earn the highest sales commission among their Brio peers.

  • Target of 80k-150k+ depending on individual sales performance

The Solar Sales Consultants will report directly to their assigned Area Sales Manager.

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Create in-home sales appointments to close new business
  • 100% referral and self-generated sales, perfect for the entrepreneurial spirited
  • Closing the sale using a consultative sales approach
  • Evaluating customer’s needs and building productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Attend sales meetings, sales events, trainings, and industry events to keep up-to-date on the latest Brio and industry developments
  • Create, maintain, and expand customer database within your assigned area

Solar Sales Consultants are required to run the Brio sales process consistently and in compliance with Brio’s policies and procedures. The Area Sales Manager will provide training and support to your sales efforts during weekly 1 on 1s, weekly team meetings, and weekly training.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, competitive, problem solver, analytical and able to handle rejection
  • Proven track record of field sales experience
  • In-home and/or solar sales experience a plus
  • Must be success-oriented, as demonstrated by referrals and previous sales work experience of exceeding performance targets and customer expectations
  • 80% local travel, outside of an office environment but within your assigned sales area
  • Must be able to canvass door-to-door, during the day-time and at night, in a variety of neighborhoods, during varying weather conditions, and while covering varying terrain
